In your first contact with us, you do not need a completed business plan, but you need to be able to describe the concept orally or in writing:

• the business idea
• products or services
• the market, customers and competitors
• you as the entrepreneur and your team

The process starts with one or more meetings during which you present your idea and e can provide feedback about the concept, rights, protection, market potential and financing possibilities. Some ideas require more time to be spent during the evaluation stage, while others can be rapidly evaluated for admission to the FORNY programme or the business incubator. If a business idea falls outside our programme areas, we have the option of continuing in the form of commissioned work.

Norinnova is especially on the lookout for unique ideas from North Norwegian R & D institutions and knowledge-intensive companies that wish to further develop their ideas into a product or service with international growth potential.
Business ideas that have undergone our evaluation will receive the offer of participation in our commercialisation programmes.
