Norinnova Technology Transfer offers commercialisation services within the field of research-based innovation to our collaborating research institutions.

The researchers and other employees report their ideas to their employers. Norinnova Technology Transfer evaluates the ideas and determines in collaboration with the research institution which ideas will be continued as projects. As a participant in our programme for commercialisation of research (FORNY2020), you will be followed up by NTT’s FORNY team of project managers and business developers. You will also gain access to competence, experience and networks that NTT’s employees and collaboration partners possess.

In the work to commercialise research, NTT provides assistance to develop the idea/concept, develop a business model, prepare applications for project funding, carry out market research, evaluate patentability, apply for a patent, look for partners and investors, prepare contracts and choose the form of commercialisation (company or licensing). We do this in close cooperation with the inventor. We apply to among others the Research Council of Norway for funding for formal verification of the technology and market once or twice per year. Our role is to provide advice and to assist in the commercialisation of your idea. Our goal is to create a successful business with growth potential in an international market.
